Part no. CMT-UPUR-1A

The UPUR-1A billet upper receiver is machined from 7075-T6 billet aluminum and finished in black Type III hardcoat. The barrel extension bore and the receiver face are cut in the same setup, so the barrel seats square and the extension indexes without the witness-mark guesswork that comes with a receiver machined in two operations. The port and feed path are opened up for large-bore cartridges such as .458 SOCOM.

Configuration

  • Forward assist installed boss, machined
  • Ejection port cover pin bosses machined
  • Standard right-hand eject
  • Flat-top MIL-STD-1913 rail, T-marked
  • Accepts any free-float handguard that uses a standard barrel-nut thread

What is not included

This is a stripped upper receiver. Barrel, bolt carrier group, charging handle, forward assist and ejection port parts are sold separately. It is not a firearm and does not require a transfer.

Installation. Support the receiver in a vise block designed for uppers. Torque the barrel nut to the handguard manufacturer's value and confirm gas-tube alignment before firing.
