The UHPR-3.25 MOD 2 is a short free-float rail for a pistol-length gas build, where there is very little barrel in front of the receiver to work with. It keeps the handguard off the barrel and still leaves the gas block accessible.
CMT's barrel nut does not have to be timed. No shim stack, no clocking the nut to clear the gas tube — torque the nut, slide the rail on, clamp it.
Fitment
- Mil-spec AR-15 flat-top upper receiver
- Pistol-length gas systems on short barrels
- Clears low-profile gas blocks up to .750 in. journal diameter
- Will not clear an A2 front sight base
Check the fit before you buy. Thread pitch, journal diameter and gas-system length all have to match the barrel you are building on. Installed, fired or modified parts cannot be returned.
