A low-profile gas block for a .875 in. barrel journal. It clears the inside of a free-float handguard, which is the whole point of a low-profile block — a standard front sight base will not fit under a rail.
Fitment
- .875 in. barrel journal — measure yours, do not assume
- AR-15 and AR-10 barrels using a standard gas tube
- Fits under CMT UHPR, HDM, DRT and TANO handguards
Installation. Set the block square on the journal with the gas port aligned to the barrel port before tightening. A block that is off-centre or clocked will run the rifle badly or not at all. Torque the set screws evenly and use a thread locker.
Check the fit before you buy. Thread pitch, journal diameter and gas-system length all have to match the barrel you are building on. Installed, fired or modified parts cannot be returned.
